Lugana, a clayey basin praised in the verses of Catullus, is situated on terrain of glacial origin, nestled in a pocket of land near the southern shore of Lake Garda. A wine that has an unbroken bond with its grape variety, Trebbiano di Lugana, is known as ‘Turbiana’ here.
